Back to reality.....
And theres no way they beating W. Kentucky and South Al so they will be 4-4 in conference in a week.
We had our chances... two very tuff road games in a row. They'll come away with some lessons learned that will benefit them the latter part of this season.
That officiating sure did plug the flow of the game. I can't stand that BS.
Normally an assistant coach goes up to verify the book before tip off. Clearly, Robert is head of the staff, so he bears ultimate responsibility, however, there is probably not a Division 1 head coach in the country that checks the book before tip off. It is the responsibility of an assistant in most cases.
How about Lee going up to the assistant and saying "hey make sure everyone is on the books for this game." Thats all he has to say..
8-0 UNT run to close out the game. We lost on Thursday due to an 18-0 run. We need to stop these runs...
Just got back from the game. We are a totally different team with Daigle in the game. He is going to be one hell of a player for us. You can see the potential in Grandiago, just seems like, he needs a foot in the butt. Really impressed with the hustle of the two big guys hitting the deck for loose balls and things of that nature. Dont understand why Dees isnt playing more, you can see he wants to be in, but for some reason he was on the bench for the most important part of the game especially when Daigle fouled out. Dont know, but its going to be hard to keep everyone happy, especially next year. Dont know just really impressed with Daigle, kinda brought back memories of another short guard we had with the last name of Allen.
DENTON, Texas - After trailing by as many as 10 points, UL made a furious second-half rally. However, North Texas held the Ragin' Cajuns scoreless for the game's final four minutes as the Mean Green pulled off a 72-65 Sun Belt Conference win Saturday night at the Super Pit.
The Cajuns (7-9, 4-2 Sun Belt) took a one-point lead, 65-64, on Randell Daigle's fifth 3-pointer with 3:59 remaining in the game. But that proved to be UL's final basket -and its final baskt - as North Texas (12-4, 3-2) closed the game on an 8-0 run for the win.
Daigle scored a career-high 17 points on 5-of-10 shooting - all from 3-point range - while adding four assists in 24 minutes. Senior center Abray Milson scored a season-high 10 points on 5-of-6 shooting with six rebounds. In all, 11 of the Cajuns' 13 players scored at least two points.
