Each have played valuable role in Louisiana’s quest for a West Division title... #31 Maurice Barksdale (Baltimore, Md.) - He has played 50 games and was a huge addition to the Cajuns out of junior college during the 2005-06 season...After an injury sidelined him for the 2006-07 season, he graduated in the spring of 2007 with a degree in general studies and elected to return to the Cajuns for his final season in 2007-08... #21 David Dees (Dayton, Ohio) - After two All-Big South Conference seasons at Liberty University, he transferred to Louisiana where he made an immediate impact with the Cajuns last season...He averaged 17.4 points and 5.3 rebounds per game en route to earning Third Team All-Sun Belt honors as a junior...In his four years at the Division I level, he has scored 1,499 career points... #32 Abray Milson (Lafayette, La.) - He returned to Lafayette after spending one season at Utah Valley and another at the College of Southern Idaho...He has played in 54 career games and has started 27 of 28 games this season... With one game left in the regular season, UL remains in position to do what preseason prognosticators thought was unthinkable: Win a championship. The Ragin' Cajuns (14-14 overall, 10-7 Sun Belt Conference) can grab a share of the SBC's West Division title with a win at 7:05 tonight over Denver (11-17, 7-10) on Senior Night at the Cajundome. How will we do in this game? In the Advertiser preview of the game, one of our guys is quoted as saying the defense we play may not match up well with the Princeton offense. Therefore, I predict it will be a challenge. Note if we do win we will be at least division co champs. That is progress from last year. Also, if we have to play on Wednesday (which is likely) in the first game of the conference tournament, game at the CajunDome will start at 8 PM due to the high school Top 28.
