Aaron Martin has worked 19 years in higher education aspects of communications, marketing, enrollment management, and donor and alumni relations. As Director, he oversees university branding, public relations, media relations, publications, Web communications and many special events. He is also the university's official spokesman. Aaron earned bachelor's and master's degrees in communication from UL Lafayette in 1991 and 1995, respectively. He served as dean of enrollment management for the California Maritime Academy, served as Pacific Northwest regional marketing director for an educational subsidiary of The Washington Post, and worked in fundraising and communications management at Tulane University. Aaron returned to UL Lafayette in 2011.

Matt Tarver manages the University's branding and licensing program, which promotes and protects the use of the University's trademarked and federally registered logos. Matt coordinates the University's Wear Red campaign each August and works with more than 200 local and national licensees who produce Ragin' Cajuns products. He is also editor of Alumni Accents, the UL Lafayette Alumni Association's semiannual publication. Matt earned bachelor's and master's degrees in English and Technical Communications from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 1992 and 1995 respectively. Prior to returning to Lafayette in 2007, Matt served as the director of Student Publications at Southeastern Louisiana University for 10 years.

We received notice this morning of the erroneous use of our name for the Prep Sportswear Campus Team Shop apparel to which you referenced. It was not approved by the University nor The Collegiate Licensing Company. We notified our representatives at CLC earlier today and they are reaching out to the owner of the website to correct the situation.

We always appreciate our fans letting us know when they see alleged licensed merchandise that is questionable and review each inquiry with diligence. We continually monitor regional stores and national websites as well. But, every additional set of eyes certainly helps! Thank you.

You hammered David and Dan pretty hard. You're a stand up guy. I saw the info you posted after checking with Aaron, (the correct info, I noted), but for the comment you made, I didn't see an apology. Will David and Dan see one?
