Trey Granier transfer

This was posted on another website but said trey Granier from LSU is transferring and Louisiana is the front runner. Anyone know anything about this? He was a stud at Thibodeaux.

Haven't heard about it (other than the thread I just saw on TigerDroppings because of this thread), but I'd be all about it. We do have a bit of a logjam at LB, but he's clearly a very talented player.

It seems that NwSt could be an option for him now as well. There he would not have to sit out a season. He could play right away, the question is, due to the injury, he might need the season to sit out and in that case we would be a great option for him. LSU was considering moving him to FB.

LSU redshirt freshman linebacker Trey Granier has left the team and will seek a transfer, sports information director Michael Bonnette confirmed Wednesday. Granier did not practice in Tuesday's two workouts.

Granier was a highly-touted recruit from Thibodaux High School who played four games as a senior before suffering a season-ending knee injury. He reportedly will seek a transfer to his howetown Nicholls State Colonels or Northwestern State.
