The Astros have reached a deal with the Mexico City Diablos to purchase the rights of outfield slugger Leo Heras, pending a physical. Heras, a 23-year-old native of Tijuana, is likely to head to Class AA Corpus Christi if he passes his physical. Heras, who is hitting .310 with a .519 slugging percentage, 11 home runs and 42 RBIs over 91 games this season, made his debut in the Mexican League in 2007 as a 17-year-old.
