We got a steal. Without playing a down yet, this kid may end up being the best to wear the jersey by the end of 2016/2017!
The guy went to Vandebilt. Having a C-average there is like making 3.3 at most high schools. Used to be anyway.

Obviously the most skilled position talent in UL history at the WRs, TEs, RBs, and one great QB!!!! Too bad we don't have this situation at OL!!!
    It's coming Boomer.

Can Reed play the slot. I definitely think Carter can. But, no know nothing re: Reed's ability to be a receiver.

No, Reed is not going to play the slot. The problem for McGuire is the same for most freshmen RB's he has problems picking up the blitz and protecting the QB. Its going to be a tough decision for Hud to make because he is talented, but with Carter coming back do you waste a year giving him the ball a few times a game? His other problem has been holding on to the ball during contact. Its a great problem to have, but UL is four deep with Carter coming back.

How does Carter look coming back from the ACL injury? Is he back to full speed?

I think he gets redshirted if the other 4 stay healthy all year and produce to hud's satisfaction.

-----T thinking back to the Spring of 2 years ago----do you remember where Carter was on the depth chart at slot??? Did he even get reps there before he was tried at RB due to injuries??? Also where did he play on the scout squad???

Carter is showing the burst he had last season according to Coach Lovings and Hudspeth. I was told he had two very nice runs in Saturdays scrimmage.

If he is the first or second best, play him. If not, don't waste it.
