After finally getting real sleep, the group was rejuvenated for day three, one packed with more sightseeing in the beautiful town of Barcelona.

I know futbol (soccer) does not rate high amongst most American Sports fans, but to tour the FCB facility...wow...one of the globe's best know sport franchises. Glad they got to do that.

Glad to know I'm not the only one out there. Our kids were decent at it so I had to learn it and came to love it. Heck, for World Cup, I watch Univision just to feel the passion...and I don't speak a lick of Spanish.

Yep some pics with a video every now and then would help paint a better picture for us all back home.

Since soccer has been brought into this thread (not complaining, just stating), let me tell you that LUS Fiber, by adding FXX, will put it in place of FSC (Fox Soccer Channel) on channel 133 next month.

Every provider is doing that. It's because FSC won't exist anymore. Also, the new Fox Sports1 takes the place of Speed. Any soccer programming will be on FS1 and FS2 in the future

Fox Soccer has been on Cox for a while now (channel 246) which tends to stay on in our house during the season. Its amazing how kids and adults can be introduced to the game now due to tv exposure. People don't realize how physical soccer really is, especially at the professional level and level of energy that the fans bring to the game. Its quite enjoyable to watch.

I must say, I was one of the people who thought soccer sucked. I played Fifa a couple times this year, learned the rules. I must say soccer is pretty intense, it is actually pretty exciting to watch.

As a former FC Barcelona fan, I'm super jealous they got to tour Nou Camp. People here don't realize how incredible of a venue that is.

On another note I have really been out of the loop, I didn't even realize the team was in Spain. XD

I guess I missed the details on this but how is the basketball team doing this and not be afoul of NCAA rules for practice time etc? Just wondering.
