TEs Thompson, Maxwell unsung heroes
When NFL scouts dropped in on UL Ragin’ Cajun training camp practices this week, two of the pro prospects they eyed most closely – along with defensive lineman Brandon McCray and receiver Darryl Surgent – were highly regarded but frequently under-the-radar tight ends Ian Thompson and Jacob Maxwell.
The two are no secret, however, to Cajun coaches. And starting quarterback Terrance Broadway, for one, hopes to involve both more in their senior seasons.
