After yielding an unacceptable 283.5 yards per game through the air last season - even with one starting cornerback, Melvin White, who signed an NFL free-agent deal with Carolina and another, also-undrafted Jemarlous Moten, who went to an NFL mini-camp with Baltimore - Ragin' Cajuns coach Mark Hudspeth understandably wants to upgrade his defensive secondary for 2013.

So he and his recruiting staff went to work with just that in mind.
