UL's Montrel Carter puts long, injured year in past

There were down times.

Plenty of them.

Fall football Saturdays, but no games to play. That first day trying again to run full speed. Watching teammates hit and be hit in the spring, and only being able to watch.

Yet every time his head may have been tempted to drop, something in Montrel Carter’s heart turned the frown right side up.

This young man is fast. He was the 3rd fastest track star out of High School in 2011 in Louisiana and the Fastest Football Player! Doc says knee should be better than in the recent past prior to the injury. When he finishes getting into the Football Shape he will really be a factor in Louisiana's offense! Geaux Montrel, Geaux!
