Defensive line depth is tested

With starting defensive tackle Justin Hamilton missing the first two weeks of preseason camp due to a stress fracture in his foot, other Ragin’ Cajuns will be asked to step up.

Chief among them is backup Marvin Martin, a junior from St. Amant High in Ascension Parish who had seven tackles in seven reserve-role games last season.

Yep, young guys will have to step up and in to increase the depth and keep up the intensity and pressure that the vets must bring to help our young line backers and new/old/and young DB's that our new Defensive Coordinator James Willis is putting together.
