It won't be half full. Unless we head down there.

Everyone has to have a long term goal. Ours is 65,000, theirs is 28,000.

Wow is that a comfirmed seating total for their new stadium, 28,000? Really?

They are trying to get their attendance up to 50% capacity ... from pictures from the Superdome last year, I believe that is a very lofty goal ... maybe a misplaced decimal point ... 5% maybe?

every time I tried to listen to the station out of New Orleans it wouldn't even come in and I'm less than 60 miles from New Orleans. I wish they would put us on a real station there

Except for a pretty strong FM, you're not going to catch any radio station 60 miles from New Orleans. WWL of course is the exception.

Whatever happened to the FBS requirement of 30,000? I guess they get to count the Superdome.

I think Tulane, Temple, Rice, Vanderbilt, and other similar universities should form a new "academic" athletic conference. I think they could all benefit from the stability, tradition-building, and branding of an "Ivy League II" type of conference. There's nothing like that at the FBS level.

Tulane won 12 games and nobody cared. I mean, to me, that is a clear indication of a fan base that is just not interested. Maybe the AAC and other such moves are not the right direction. I remember a little magic when I was a kid with the LSU/Tulane rivalry at the end of the season, but it doesn't seem like they can capture that again.
