BALTIMORE — Orioles starter Bud Norris recorded a season-high eight strikeouts Thursday against his former team, while the Astros continued to set MLB strikeout records. Through 107 games, the Astros have an MLB-leading 1,003 strikeouts. They’re the first team in baseball history to strike out at least 1,000 times in 107 contests, according to the Elias Sports Bureau. The Astros broke a record held by the 2010 Arizona Diamondbacks, who took 109 games to hit 1,000.
