Dish of the Day starts this week of Pub Grub with lunch at Burgersmith, where you'll have to try the organic burger.
Not every patty is created equal — this burger starts with a grass-fed, certified organic beef patty served on a wheat bun, and at Burgersmith, the diner has a multitude of toppings to choose from.
For this burger, INDEats loaded the bun with butter lettuce, roasted red peppers and chipotle mayo. We like unique, and these toppings were a great pairing for the organic patty. For a side, try the fried green beans — dunk the crispy veggie in housemade Cajun ranch and your taste buds will be glad you made the switch from the usual french fries.
The burger starts at $8, and the beans are $5.50. During EatLafayette, mention the campaign and receive $1 off the Smith Burger or Cajun Bratwurst and get a complimentary order of Smith Fries.
