Thread: Your pre-season prediction...

I'm not sure where you see that this year was a could of should of scenario but OK.

Also, my point attempted to stretch the entire season. Last year's defense was better, certainly at this stage but they had much more experience and some pass rushers which we don't have this year. They ended up being, statistically, one of the worst teams in all of FBS football against the pass. Point is, if they were that bad with that amount of experience, we have a long way to go this year just to be considered a bad defense.
One score in the first :18+ isn't a travesty either.

Its the next :17 that sticks out.

I think UL gets past KState and then there are 2 games to key on. A State & Western Kentucky, with Western being a larger concern because of Patrino's pass schemes. If UL can win both of those, or at least split them, then they are the conference champs this year.

WKU IS LOADED. Their running back had over 1700 yards on the ground, and was the conference leader in all purpose yards. Their qb is very good, they have an NFL prospect at linebacker. They have a coach who can spot weakness in all defenses he has played. Willie Tagatt was did an outstanding job of stocking the cupboard before he left, and added to all that our defense is not ready in several key areas. We will be a road team in an irregular game day. This will be a bear of a game to win.

ASU will be loaded, and again a road team in an irregular mid week game.

We can win both but we gotta improve all aspects of our game a lot.

Troy another trap game, a ESPN U national game on Thursday. We play on a short week, while the Trojans play after a seven day layover.

Then when we play MoanRow Hoax we better be playing for something because they will absolutely have revenge on their agenda regardless of their record.

Do not forget about Texas State who beat Southern Miss this past weekend. They have some ball players on defense

I feel ashamed....I picked 8-5. Although I picked different teams to lose to.... It's my fault.

Who posted, at the beginning of the season, the poll of "What will the Cajuns end up this year?" and listed 12-0 through 0-12? I would love to see the final results versus reality. I guessed 9-3. 1 off!

T-Bine can call up the pre season prediction thread and that might be fun---I might have even said a best of 9-3 and worst of 7-5 and maybe an 8-4!!!!
