SUGAR LAND, TX – The First Half Freedom Division Champion Sugar Land Skeeters announced today that Skeeters starting pitcher Jason Lane has signed with the San Diego Padres organization and will report to its Triple A Tucson club. The announcement was made by Skeeters Manager Gary Gaetti and Director of Operations Michael Kirk. Lane, 36, posted an 8-3 record with a 2.80 ERA (31ER/99.2IP) in 16 starts for Sugar Land this season.
