2007 Fall Ball World Series decided 4 games to 2

_ who yall think will get redshirted, and who will get cut if any. Pitching will be there you have to understand that they face these pitchers for two months. _

Everyone I did not mentioned in an earlier post except Cy Primeaux, TJ Gros, Dane Maxwell, and Andre Robichaux would be redshirted. These players have already used their redshirt year. Of course the 27 players I mentioned my not be correct. I expect all freshmen except Bowman, Griffen, and Fontenot to redshirt.

There were 45 players on the series rosters. I believe 35 will make the roster, the others (10 or so players) will be cut but can still redshirt. This is the way I understand it, if I am wrong please correct me. I would think guys like Holloway, Marze, Cook, Dubois, Goulas, Wascom, and Benzel will battle for the last few roster spots.

Bowman is the wild card of this freshman class. I see a ton of potential yet still a little raw. He swung the bat well, I saw 2 opposite field hits with one being a triple in the 3 1/2 games I watched. He runs very smooth also. I did see him miss play a ball in the outfield but it was a liner right over his head. I spoke with a gentleman who watches Lafayette High and he said that normally he is a very good outfielder.

l feel matt goulas is a very good outfield he hit better in the fall then bowman and made some tough catches in left field

RHP Matt Lackie, McKinney North HS, McKinney, TX has committed. He is ranked in the top 250 high school players by Baseball America. Big, strong thrower with excellent stuff. His dad was the Baltimore Orioles first pick in the 1980 Draft.
