I spoke with some of the pitchers the other day and they said that Glass was overweight and currently not in the weekend rotation. Hope that is not true, although he did not pitch well for us at the end of last season.

Can anyone tell me what happened to the Porrier kid? He was a transfer from a Juco and was going to make a run as a starting middle guy, but I saw his name at the start of the fall but is no longer listed. Anyone have any insight?

Pitchers aren't the brightest guys on the team. Hurt from a car wreck last year. He is fine. He was in shape when he got to school last month. I doubt he forgot how to pitch. I think he prefers "thick" to describe his frame, which he comes by honestly.
