    Default Johnny Kight

No longer on the team according to an earlier tweet from Buck. Announced by HUD today. Man this is a big blow to the O line. Kight was supposed to come in and immediately start

@TDARaginCajuns: UL coach Mark Hudspeth: OL Johnny Kight, a transfer from East Central Mississippi Community College, has left the program and won't return.

Seems to be a recurring theme lately.

Maybe he realized how steep the stadium steps are and how heavy those backpacks are

Just don't understand. He was one of our earliest signees. They were really high on him. He had to have killed a polar bear or something

I think we will always have attrition with the intensity of the offseason program.

This is becoming a concern. Maybe it's the caliber of athlete we're dealing with now, but the list of these types of departures is getting longer and longer.

What plight? Is he going somewhere else or is he just not cut out for Hud's program.

    As Brock Meaux stated.....

    NEXT!

Our depth is not like it was 5 years ago or even 3 years ago, can we afford to lose players, no...but no one can. Are we in a better position today then we were just a handfull of years ago, absolutely.

We have a number of players that have been in the system for a year or two and while they have not played it is time for them to step up, and they will. We have a few veterans on the line that will help the rookies earn their stripes.
