As Brock Meaux stated.....
NEXT!
Our depth is not like it was 5 years ago or even 3 years ago, can we afford to lose players, no...but no one can. Are we in a better position today then we were just a handfull of years ago, absolutely.
We have a number of players that have been in the system for a year or two and while they have not played it is time for them to step up, and they will. We have a few veterans on the line that will help the rookies earn their stripes.
"If not him, then who..........ME, COACH"
I think our offseason program seperates the "men" from the "boys"!!! Like in the animal kingdom, only the strong survive. Could it be that Coach Witt's offseason conditioning program does more to evaluate what kind of players make it here at UL as opposed to film study? So far, Hud's methods have proven to be effective. Until proven otherwise, I think the guys that can "cut the mustard" in the offseason will have what it takes to continue to elevate UL's program up the ladder of success. Those that leave, probably wouldn't have been able to contribute as much as we may have thought.
Its been a while since I have broken down a game on film, but today on Young Billy's Show the guest was talking about the huge increase in # of plays run in a game---To do this you need conditioning---Getting there is not a bowl of Cherries!!!
