Are you serious. Browning had a meltdown in the bowl game he participated, and Broadway sprouted wings, just like Gauthier the year before.

In every aspect Broadway is the superior quarterback, except for possibly one. That one being the Hoax quarterback is totally unpredictable. Broadway is the better passer, better runner, better decision maker, higher IQ, higher football IQ.

If both go uninjured it will be interesting to see how it all wraps up.

Now Dave if both were juniors who do you think these coaches would take to lead their teams? IMO the coaches did give the Hoax the nod because it will be his last season, but would take TB over the Hoax.

One game does not make a season, Broadway did not start the entire season and it makes sense why he did not get SBC Off POY. PreSeason wise, I believe the nod has to go to Browning, because of his body of work. Do I think Broadway is better and will be better in the long term, yes. Do I think that Browning deserves the nod right now for PreSeason POY, yes. I think at the end of the season, Broadway and Browning will be battling it out for Off POY and it will depend on how their respective teams finish and injuries. If I were starting a team right now and both were available, I would not complain on having to take either of the two. it is a no loss situation. As Jay Walker has said, Browning reminds us alot of Dez, but with a better arm. Both are special, but body of work gives the nod to Browning as "PRESEASON POY", I do believe that may change at years end.

How does the best offense in the SBC get one player selected (at center)? Interestingly we had one of the worst defenses (statistically speaking from last year) and have two selections. I think this will add motivation to the late summer workouts and two-a-days.

Well I do respect them and their talent----Glad they are in lafayette for the game and hope we have the same outcome---A WIN!!! hell it seems like these guys have been playing in Monroe forever --they have to be pretty good as they are the same guys that beat Arkansas and others last year!!!

It looks to me like they simply chose the players with the most yards last year at the skill positions. We lost our top two receivers, and as someone said Broadway (and Harris) did not play the entire year.

So the Hoax has more players on the all conference team, the offensive player of the year in Browning. UL had four first place votes, and the Hoax 2.

As was stated on the Hoax board, Berry is viewed as Hud's b itch!

You can bet one of ULM's 2 votes was Berry's. So who was the other dumb SOB who voted them 1?
