Lafayette police are investigating a shooting inside a Lafayette nightclub.
Police say they heard the gunshot come from inside the business at 314 Jefferson Street, around 1:30 am. Officers say they entered Karma Nightclub & Lounge finding one victim with a gunshot wound to the back. The victim was transported to a local hospital and was listed in stable condition.
Detectives with the Lafayette Police Department are encouraging anyone with information about the shooting or the identity of the suspects to contact Lafayette Police or Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.
