OK Alex johnson was the top RB in the state that I thought went to McNeese!! the other Johnson is the transfer from Tulsa---Nixon is a RED SHIRT Freshman---I think many could have won with these guys!!! wow---Briscoe, Nixon, plus J and J!!!
WR Ricky Johnson from Tulsa. You guys won't have trouble remembering his name after this season. He will be big time in 2013. He is the second fastest guy on the team (by a hair) to Surgent - but much bigger. He is going to shine despite a talented crowd at WR.
Wallace was a better natural athlete, Top 100 in the state of Texas his senior year. Fenroy had the work ethic and dedication to work at getting better, Wallace did not. Fenroy had to learn early that he wasn't going to just run over people at this level and gained both strength and speed in summer workouts. He already had the natural instincts as a back, he just needed to improve his strength and speed. Fenroy was a self made athlete at UL.
Fenroy learned that on his first play from scrimmage vs Texas, he got rocked so hard I thought he would never play or he was a bust. man did he prove me wrong, it was like that first play he got up and said take this.
I saw Jamal Robinson at Wal Mart a couple weeks ago. (Talked to him a little while on aisle 5, you know, where the peanut butter is located). That dude is very tall and ripped. He was already good last year, but I just can't see how any average sized defensive guy is going to cover him. We really are loaded at recievers. Dang I'm excited for this season!!!!
OK y'all need to pipe down with all of this football talk.
I'm getting a little too excited.
Any more of this and I'm gonna go full hyper-mode.
Like this guy.......
"Mathew Showalter"!
I got hoarse listening to it!
