Much like Tech turning down a bowl invite to avoid playing ULM, Tulane would find other things to do that night instead of being embarrassed on national TV in their "home" stadium.

For home games they bus in boy scout units and empty the nursing homes. So that guy plus about 300 elderly people. They may lose a few of the elderly during the course of the game so about 295 would be my guess.

For a program that had not been to a bowl in 40 years.3 consecutive bowl attendance records and 3 consecutive bowl wins is great for the university no matter how you slice it. New Orleans bowl is on Saturday. Not Tuesday, Sunday or Friday. Great for attendance and ratings. Dominate that thing til they rename it the cajun bowl.
