"an interim permit for the facilities of the naval base at New Iberia was granted"

After years of roadblocks UL's plans for something in New Iberia was given interim approval. Those plans would have been great for growing UL.

Before interim was granted LSUE was started with lighting quickness, with groundbreaking in May of 66 and only then was UL-NI given interim status.

Ultimately UL was blocked from having a true campus in New Iberia.

Isn't that your dad looking over the top of a lady's head (staring at the camera)? I only know your dad's face from meeting him at UL, but I have very good facial memory. I've never seen your mom, but is she in the sunglasses in front of him?

No, that is their friends. They are to the far right. These 3 couples still get together for every UL Homecoming game.
