Briscoe arrived in Coral Gables from Lafayette, LA. as part of the Hurricanes 2012 class. The 6-5, 302-pound tackle was ranked the No. 21 prospect in LA. and the No. 39 prospect in the nation coming out of high school (247Sports).
Briscoe picked Miami over Texas A&M, and Tennessee.
Although he did not see any action during the 2012 season, Briscoe could have seen ample playing time during the upcoming season. The Hurricanes are desperate for defensive tackles and Briscoe’s departure would sting.
Should Briscoe leave, he would become the third Hurricane to transfer, joining Robert Lockhart and Ricardo Williams.
They had moved Briscoe to offensive line when he got there.
Just like Cordian Hagans. We will take 3 and 4 star DL that the big guys want to convert to OL.
Hagans was a pretty good one. I hope that Briscoe is as successfull as Hagans, it will be worth it.
