Wow. What a change.

My wife and son were at Carencro for a wrestling meet the night he announced. Al Golden was there and they got to meet him.

T, will a Head Coach typically fly all the way from, say, Miami to Carencro for a kid's announcement? I was pretty impressed that Golden was in Carencro on a Wednesday or Thursday.

I'm not sure how the NCAA looks upon such a thing since he had not signed yet. My guess is Coach Golden was walking a fine line in doing so because I've never seen a head coach, not Hudspeth, Myles, Saban or any other attend an announcement before Signing Day. BTW, I took pictures of him at Carencro on National Signing Day.

Take care of school and CRZ will be a piece of cake after! I think paying your own way certainly makes you appreciate your education (and degree upon receipt) much more than if someone else pays for it ... at least it did for me!

UL will be flat out loaded with BCS level talent in the trenches next 2-3 years. Aiyeeee!!!

This may not be the last news for 2013 class additions that was already nationally recognized and keeps getting stronger........awesome times to be a UL Ragin' Cajun!

Honestly, I'm not sure what day it was.

My wife took a couple of pictures with Golden. Her nephew, Jake Wieclaw kicked for Miami last year.
