Ragin' Cajuns A Death in the UL Family

Long time UL supporter, J. C. "Black" Rogers has passed away.

Mr. Black was the father of UL football players David Rogers and Tommie Rogers, and the grandfather of UL footballer Baron Rogers, UL track and field athlete Ben Rogers and UL/UNO baseball player Matt Rogers.

Mr. Black and Ms. Effie have been fixtures at Cajun athletic events for over 40 years. He will be missed.

My families best and prayers to the Rogers family. Now Mr. J.C. will be able to watch all the Cajun games from heaven with my loved ones who so loved sports!
