Former Evangel standout to transfer to UL

Former Evangel All-Stater Jenna Kreamer has decided to transfer from the University of Washington to UL, The Times has learned.

The 2011 Times Player of the Year recently completed her freshman campaign as a Husky seeing limited action as a pinch runner and hitter for the 2013 Women’s College World Series participants. The No. 11 Huskies (45-17) ended their season with a 6-2 loss to national champion Oklahoma at the WCWS.

-----Oh how I remember the week night games going watch my daughter with the Loyola B-ball team---and that was getting to go to NO---yes the worst was travel to Tennessee and other states!!!

Wonder if she will be eligible right away or have to sit a year? I believe if Wash. grants her release she can play this season but not sure.

Born Sept. 16, 1993 ... parents are David and Janine ... has two brothers, Matt and Dan ... brother Matt plays football at MickeyNeese State ... brother Dan plays football at Arkansas ... has former HS/club teammates that play at UCF and Houston ... lists her favorite athlete as Tim Tebow because, "he is a great example of the Christian athlete and he knows how to handle adversity with a winning attitude." ... most admires her parents because, "they have taught me how to rely on Jesus no matter what circumstance I go through."
