    Cool photo. You can see that Brown-Ayers hasn't burned down yet and new Martin Hall isn't under construction yet. Also, Maxim Doucet Hall, FG Mouton Hall and Wharton Hall are missing from the photo.

    It would look great if Martin Hall had a football stadium behind it.

    I fell in love with the old brick structures and did not like the Eng,Biol,and post office or whatever by the lake!!!!! Hope that they could get these back to the original look!!!!

    Edith Garland Dupré.
    Ms. Dupre was a member of the first faculty at Southwestern Louisiana Industrial Institute (now, the University of Louisiana . at Lafayette). She taught English and French, and oversaw the operation of the library.
