She and another player (Hollis) were dismissed from the team. Don't know what the deal was. Hopefully whatever the deal was a change of venue works out for her and the Cajuns.

If this is true this is a great pick up. Up to this point she has had a great career at McNeese. She had very impressive numbers and would easily start here at UL. This is exciting.

She always wanted to come to UL, but Brittany Bryant was an underclassman. So they had no partial scholarship to offer, and she took the offer from McNeese State.

Couple of things, her bat got much better in 2007 than 2006, don't have the 2005 rating. Also nice fielding average.

I find it kinda odd that Soto is coming and nothing about Hollis being that Hollis is actually from Lafayette. then again, I'm not sure how the scholarship stuff will break down and what position she plays and the competition for said position. It does seem though that the two were very good friends and would like to stay together, so I don't know if we could capitalize on that.

This is the second program that Hollis has left. You only get to transfer once without sitting out.

Everyone is way off on all these transfers. Vanessa Soto was kicked off of LSU's softball team. She is not from Mcneese or anywhere else. Brooke Brodhead is the transfer from Mcneese and is nothing more than average. A few other players that are being brought into the program are very questionable and to be quite honest the team chemistry will be very non existant this year. The only plus going for the team is the near perfect pitcher coming in. She better live up to the hype.
