You just made me remember something. I came across the full length version of the UL-Tennessee NCAA Tournament game from 2000. Abbreviation on the screen was ULA and they called us Louisiana in just about every scene that I watched. What happened to that?

Definitely. Even the coverage of the tournament on espn had it as louisiana. Fast forward 3 months to CWS and it was lafayette everywhere
