A St. Martinville family is now looking for answers after the desecration of a loved one's grave.

The family went to the grave of Dylon Boudreaux to celebrate his 19th birthday on June 5th. The next day they returned to find part of the family's tomb had been set on fire. Charred burn marks covered the majority of the front of the tomb. Boudreaux went missing during the summer of 2012 and his body was found a few days later in a St. Martinville field.

The family says some type of flammable accelerant was used to burn the grave.

"I fell to my knees and prayed. I did feel a little anger. It didn't last too long, but I feel more sympathy for the people who would do things like this," Dylon Boudreaux's grandfather Roland Boudreaux said.

Now the family is trying to find out who is responsible for the fire. Not only is Dylon buried in the tomb, but three other family members as well.

"When they find whoever did it, if they do, we'll let the law take care of it," Roland Boudreaux said.
