ESPN released their ratings for all Regional games this past weekend.

"Overall, ESPN2 and ESPNU combined to reach 11,680,000 viewers for its game telecasts. In addition, fans watched more than 96,600,000 live and replay minutes of Regionals action on the ESPN3 and WatchESPN platforms. ESPN3's coverage of LSU vs. Louisiana on Sunday, June 2, is the network's most-viewed NCAA baseball game, logging 136,000 unique viewers that watched over 11 million live minutes."
I'm sure LSU had alot to do with that... but UL and the Lafayette market had alot to do with it as well.
Either way, that's a ton of exposure for our fellas in the red and white.
Oops, my bad UL_Cajuns, guess I took too long setting up my thread lol. I totally re-posted your own thread!
I'm too quick for u
Explains the streaming bandwidth problems.
They have covered LSU many many times, they know what to expect.
They underestimated the UL market.
It's stuff like this that moves the chains in our efforts to score a realignment touchdown in the future.
Wow! That's a lot of eyeballs. Wonder how many people were listening on the radio. That's gotta put a big dent in Jay Walker's and Jim Hawthorne's audiences. I had to mute the volume on the two guys doing the ESPN3 broadcast. Silence was better than listening to them.
I couldn't take a chance of that one guy saying, "I love..." again.
Hell, the graphic in the score box in the lower right screen at one point said "LA FAY". I'm usually not a conspiracy theorist, but damn. They could not keep ANY name straight for their lives.
I concur to no sound. I could not stomach Leland Maddox's man crush on LSU after awhile. The more I listened, I more expected to hear his fist rapidly hitting the underside of the table at any moment.
