Yea.. like I said an average OF. We will all see today if the scouts/GM's like him as a Pro prospect.

MLB teams don't draft kids on assisted double plays. Players get draft on if they have pro baseball tools.

That is what I'm thinking. Probably around 25th round.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Mike picked between the 12th and 15th rounds today. He has the physical tools to play outfield, with good speed, a plus arm, and the power capacity to be a MLB hitter. He needs a lot of work on hitting off-speed pitching which the minor leagues could provide. Whether he would go for that slot monetarily would be the question, as he can always come back and still have a junior year to his advantage. As someone earlier suggested, I might look to move him to an outfield position next year if he stays in school.

I remember the play but was too excited at the time to put the sequence together and actually realize how truly awesome it was.

And as awesome as it was, if he had been looking, he had a play at second as the runner was going there!

    Can you say triple play.

I was thinking he went after senior year. That's right...

Did you just pull that out of your arse? He'll go way before the 25th. Unless, he's thrown a number out there and the teams know they can't sign him for what they're offering. Kind of like last year when, I think it was Rhymes, who was drafted in the 26th round.
