Two UL Ragin' Cajun baseball players will have offseason surgery, two others with injuries will not and 13 have plans to play in college summer league, associate coach Anthony Babineaux said Tuesday, two days after UL was eliminated from NCAA Regional play with a 5-1 loss to LSU.

Babineaux said centerfielder Seth Harrison will soon have Tommy John elbow surgery and right-fielder Dex Kjerstad will have elbow surgery on his throwing arm as well.
