You have to be 3 years out of HS. He redshirted.

Hope Strentz stays, but we do have a capable replacement in Thurman. Dex, IMHO is not replaceable. He is a dynamic presence at the top of the lineup and one of the better position players I have ever seen in a Cajun uniform. A question for the people who know about the draft. Is Dex projected to be a high draft pick? What would it take for him to leave?

Barring any major injuries or early departures, UL will be a force next season! I would love to see both LSU and UL host so we could both have the opportunity to advance to at least Super Regional play. My hats go off to Boutte, very gutsy performance and he kept y'all in the game. Great season guys!

From what I've been told, Kjerstad has told teammates that he will kot sign if drated. I don't think Harrison an Strentz will be offered enough to make them sign.

My guess (no info) would be if Strentz gets drafted in the top 15 rounds he'll sign. It's just a feeling.

It would have to be in the top 10 rounds. After the 10th round there is no little to no guarnteed money. The 10th round picks are only slotted around $125,00. That's not much for a guy who if he comes back could possibly work his way into the top 5 rounds where the money is better. Strentz still has leverage because he has two years left to play, now if he only had one year left I would say he signs no matter what

Unrelated question but didn't want to waste a thread.... Who is the big African American dude who seems to be a great motivator and this weekend the largest bat-boy in the history of the world? I love this guy and don't even know who he is??

Yea he is the equipment manager. I'm pretty sure he's been with the team most if not all of the season.

This team has recent history of players signing in later rounds for little money. Not saying it's a good idea. Just saying.

Can you remind me of who are the incoming freshmen and Juco players coming in next year? Who should we look out for to make an immediate impact?
