In the post game comments BabinO said that they thought about holding lil Robe and that it (not using your best and keeping him if you win) had worked in the past to get us to the CWS (my added) but just had to get this done~!!!

In hindsight, I like going with Robe. EVERYBODY is still available for the rest of this tournament now, including possibly Wilson on Monday. You win this game 15-8, and your pitching's in terrible shape with 3 to go. Robe ate innings and kept everyone fresh.

Also, it's damn hot. Robe pitched in the heat in the conference tourney, and he said on ESPN3 afterwards that the Conf. tourney game prepared him to pitch in the heat today. We needed more than a win. We needed a close to CG, and he got it done.

Now we need SHSU to beat LSU tonight. I'd rather have to beat LSU once and SHSU twice as the better of 2 bad options.

Like I said: I want to win a championship - not just "go far."
