"We will probably go with Austin [Robichaux]_tomorrow,” Robichaux said. “We will come out and get after it and get ourselves back in this thing._ This was not going to be an easy regional anyway._ You are playing one of the better teams in the country in one of the toughest venues in the country.”

That quote came from the bottom of the article.
Hitting lost the game tonight not pitching.

Uhhhh...no we aren't Tony. Atleast you realize that we just need to survive and advance now. Pitching Austin is the absolute right move here.
My 2 cents. I think it was the right move to go with Wilson and save Austin for LSU. Now that we lost, I throw a soft throwing lefty like Boutte or Smith against Jackson St. And again save Austin for the next game. SWAC teams traditionally hit hard throwing fastball guys and struggle against soft throwing pitchers. We will need our better pitcher to get us to the championship game. Again we are trying to win the regional not one game.
I do question one move by Robe. Although I agree with Hicks coming in to pitch in the 6th with 2 on and no outs because it is an obvious bunt situation and he is our best defensive pitcher, but no way he goes back out in the 7th. Of our relievers he has one of the worst batting average against and just hasn't been good over the past 2 months. Our best reliever by far and I said this many times is Kendall Mayer. He has by far the best ERA 1.35, average against .090, and K per 9 innings 1.7. Unbelievable stats! In comparison Hicks ERA 4.89, BAA .306, K/9inngs 0.59. I don't understand why Mayer don't pitch more? 20 innings all year and has given up only 6 hits.
