Maybe bunt, try to manufacture runs instead of relying on the long ball. Put pressure on SHSU's infielders. Just a thought, of course I can only watch on game tracker so we may have done that.

No, we didn't do that. I just got home from the game, and although I know this team got here by smacking the ball... I was surprised how we didn't try to move runners in scoring position by bunting. We had a man on first with no outs, 3 or 4 times (mainly via the plunk), and we just swung for the fences. I'll give a lot of credit to SHST pitching... but it seemed like a little small ball was in order tonight... at various times. I guess that just isn't the girl that we brought to this dance... and it caught up with us tonight. I will say this... there's not a whole lot wrong with SHST. They are a solid ball club.

Saw this coming from a motherfricking mile away. The players looked past SHSt and were already thinking about LSU. Why in the hell Dylan Butler doesn't start tonight, or AT LEAST come in to pinch hit late in the game is beyond me. WTF is that all about? What happened to Dylan in left, Leonards at 2b, and Jace at 1B? I realize Compton kinda earned his way back into the lineup... but against a lefty the least you can do is start Butler.
