With ULıs football reporting only a few days away, some fans may be looking to more thoroughly prepare themselves for the upcoming collegiate season. Not to worry. Hereıs some rule changes that will let you dazzle your friends and the fellow fanatics you sit with in the stadium every home game:
This year, you can tell your friends that the height of the kicking tee has been lowered by one inch. Now, tees may be only one inch above the ground instead of the two inches allowed in 2005. The rationale is to increase the number of kickoff returns.
This year, if players wear the plastic eye shields inside their helmetıs faceguard, they must be clear and not tinted. The rationale is that medical personnel must be able to check playersı eyes without having to remove the helmet in case of a potential head or neck injury. Sport goggles and sunglasses are still permitted, since they can be removed.
