Righthanded pitcher Brad Peacock rejoined the Astros on Tuesday to fill the roster spot vacated by outfielder Robbie Grossman’s departure for Oklahoma City. Peacock, who started the season in the Astros’ starting rotation, was sent to Oklahoma City at the beginning of the month and was 1-2 in four starts with a 4.98 ERA and 27 strikeouts with nine walks in 21.2 innings. He was 1-3 in six games with the Astros, five of them starts, with a 9.41 ERA and 19 strikeouts with 13 walks in 22 innings as he struggled to throw strikes.
