Our turn.
I don't believe the Cajuns are ever out of a game with their offense, but this is going to be tough. The bullpen has been pretty bad all year, and this is exactly the reason why the team will not be able to go deep in a regional or tournament type format, if the starters can not go at least 6 or 7 every game. Hopefully, the coaching staff has recruited a lot of pitching for next year.
Come on Cajuns. Show me how little I know.
Get 3 or 4 runs here to put yourself back in the mix
I was thinking this exact same thing a few minutes ago. Getting through the loser's bracket would be brutal in a regional. If we can get some pitching depth in here next year, though, this team is going to be really scary. I'd rather keep talking about this year for a while longer, though.
Well, that was NOT the way to start a comeback. We've got to shut them down this inning.
FAU's guy is very stingy, but if any team can make a game of it it is us. The deeper teams go in the regional the weaker pitching gets, except for today (FAU).
We have a chance by beating the 1 seed putting them in the loser's bracket, which forces them to use lots of pitching to get back to us, assuming we keep winning. We will have a tough time losing the 2nd game of a regional.
Same here, and we are going to get that chance as the Cajuns are going to be in a regional. I just hope that they don't get embarrassed like they are today, especially if they are sent to refineryville.
