Jordan shuts them out with a two hitter for they're first shutout in over a year and you think the Cajuns will need more than 5 runs to win. Why?

I just think it'll be extremely difficult for Jordan to throw another 125+ pitches. If anyone can do it, it would be her, but I'm thinking she won't go another 7 innings. I'd love to be wrong, though. But hey, maybe the game will only go 5!!!

Doesn't matter what you have. Mike has an advanced degree in coaching. He has studied this for years and I have heard him discuss it. He could write a thesis on hitting away versus bunting. I respect his opinion. Maybe you could sit down with him one day and discuss. That's all.

Perhaps he missed his calling. The people who do it for the BIG bucks would not agree with you. Al la the NCAA elite base-ballers and Major league base-ballers..... I would venture to say you are smoking something very strong to have bought into something NO ONE else in baseball or softball has. You are very gullible to think his methodology is smarter than all of those aforementioned folks in a multi-BILLION dollar industry. If his is the best way, why is he wasting his time at 110 thou a year when he could be making maga-zillians teaching his statistics package to some folks who would be more than willing to pay for a sure fire way to win repeated pennants and championships.

By the way, how many national championships has this strategy (or lack of) placed in the Cajuns trophy case on Reinhardt Dr.

You need to read money ball. It goes in to long explanation as to why bunting and steals are not an effective offensive strategy. The studies were done by math and statistic professors. It is a very interesting read.
