I can't see how that's possible at this point

None of this actually matters because our assignment will be to Refineryvilletravel cost issues will dictate that.

While I do think we end up in Baton Rouge the travel cost do not play as strong a factor as they did in prior years but they certainly are taken into account.

Cajuns' RPI moves up to .5710 . good for a rank of #22, just .0007 behind Arizona State.

Cajuns now 3-3 vs. RPI Top 25 and 7-5 vs. RPI Top 50.

My opinion is that Rice is a #3 seed . and could be our opponent in Baton Rouge. If they win the CUSA tournament title today over Southern Miss, it is possible the NCAA helps them with a #2 seed. But I think they deserve a #3 seed.

Are we sure of getting into a regional? I've been told that there is no way 3 sunbelt teams go, and we would be the 4th.

Let's just say you have no idea what you are talking about. The only team that needed to win our tourny was FAU. UL Troy and South Alabama are all locks to get in.

Take it easy. "I've been told" means that it's not his opinion, he was asking a question.

You have three Sun Belt schools in the area that need places to go . with South Alabama and Louisiana likely both being #2 seeds . Troy probably being a #3 seed. All Sun Belt schools must be sent to different regionals. South Alabama is the most likely candidate for Starkville . especially when you consider they will be considered the top #2 seed among the Sun Belt schools (LSU > FSU > MSU). If the Cajuns went to Starkville, then South Alabama needs to go somewhere else. Troy makes sense in Tallahassee.

It will be interesting to see if LSU/Louisiana/Rice are in the Baton Rouge regional . or if the NCAA lightens up on LSU (which will likely be a Top 4 national seed) and sends someone like Sam Houston State (provided they make the field). Central Arkansas is also a possibility as a #3 seed (just within the 400 mile bus trip), but may not have the RPI rank necessary to warrant a #3 seed (#63).
