Thread: Weather Pushes Louisiana-South Alabama Contest to Friday

  1. UL Baseball Re: Weather Pushes Louisiana-South Alabama Contest to Friday

IMO the SBC did no team a favor with this schedule. FAU/Troy should start at 9:00 AM, and UL/USA at 11:00 AM. None of these games will be well attended except Cajuns, but still not a strong attendance at 12:30 vs 11:00. Heat for us will be important especially if we lose.

    Interesting:

Found out the "all-clear" (no more lightning in the area) wasn't giving until 12:43 am this morning. FAU and Troy would have resumed at 1:13am had they not made the decision they did.

Sucks for the crowd at 12:30, but it was the only call to make.

Does anyone in Lafayette work after lunch on Friday anyway?

Don't we play again tonight even if we win?

I was going to record the softball game and attend the S.AL game....but, you know they will be announcing the girl's score regularly!

Question: Will the ticket I purchased for yesterday's game be valid for today's game only, or will it be honored for a possible game tonight if we lose, or tomorrow if we win?

Slick, here is the info as posted on ragincajuns.com:

"Fans who purchased a single game ticket (not a booklet) for Game 8 of the Sun Belt Baseball Tournament featuring UL and South Alabama and are unable to attend the contest at 12:30 p.m. on Friday can redeem that ticket for one to the Cajuns' next game in the tournament (either Friday at 7:30 p.m. or Saturday at 12:30 p.m.)."

Why listen or track when you can watch both games on your computer or smart phone?

Bossman just told me to get out of here and enjoy my afternoon at the ballpark.
