Why be such hard ons about it? BCS schools are calling us by what we want to be called these days. Just more reason to leave this jackleg conference at the first opportunity.

Just stop and think. Of course the conference has a say in this.

And I seem to recall someone sayig that with the change in commissioner the conference , while not going out of their way to help us, was not going to stand in our way on the name issue or force unacceptable references on us. I guess that was wishful thinking.

Some scenarios I see: 1) someone at the SBC office has a hard-on for the Cajuns and the name issue and are just being douchebags 2) someone at the SBC office has lady parts and is giving into pressure from a fellow conference school to not allow the use of Louisiana.
