Dan I believe, was hired by the conference to call all of the softball tournament games as well as baseball. I can only assume the conference has instructed him to refer to us that way.

Why be such hard ons about it? BCS schools are calling us by what we want to be called these days. Just more reason to leave this jackleg conference at the first opportunity.

And I seem to recall someone sayig that with the change in commissioner the conference , while not going out of their way to help us, was not going to stand in our way on the name issue or force unacceptable references on us. I guess that was wishful thinking.
