It was 2007, and the UL baseball team was playing in an NCAA Regional in College Station, Texas.
The Ragin' Cajuns were the home team for a game, assigned to Texas A&M's usual dugout and lockerroom.

Good read
A great indept article on the art of where you stand as a player at the plate. You do no more or no lest than what is expected of you. Deggs take the concept of hitting like a football player, you have your asignment, go do it........
Wow ---Put me in Coach---and the great ones have a little of all the classifications!!!
I think Deggs deserves a raise. Also, as much as I love Bab, I think you can make a pretty strong case for Deggs to be the next Head Coach of this team if say... Robe is done when Austin finishes.
I think the difficulty may be to keep Coach Deggs at all. You'll have some teams with lots of money poaching before long. I just hope the area can be a benefit like it was with Coach Hud unless the "perfect" team comes calling, and that the RCAF can help to supplement his salary to add extra incentive.
I just disagree that we should ever hire someone solely because they paid their dues.
