Cajun Field on NCAA 08 (XBOX 360)

My brother bought NCAA 08 on the 360 earlier today. The first game we played we played at Cajun Field. I saw the screenshot of the 360 Cajun Field, but when I checked it out on the game, I was amazed!!. The actual Cajundome and Convention Center are the, along with the maintenance building on the corner. The clubhouse and athletic department is on there along with the Tennis Courts and the Tigue. Another thing that got me was that The University House apartments are on there. The thing the most amazing though is that an exact replica of UMC is across the street. Man, I know that this may not get others excited but I felt like I was in Lafayette on gameday!!!! The only things missing are the LITE Center and the Hilton Garden Inn. EA did a great job on it.

I dunno about the PC, but they are going to have the real cajun field on the 360 version (last year the stadium was generic). Here is a screen shot of Cajun Field.

I've been wanting to post this, and forgetting about it...

I've got NCAA '07 on the PSP. many of the games on there are lacking in some things as compared to the bigger games on the bigger systems, but they do have something that looks similar to cajun field. it is the generic mid-major stadium, as only the big schools get the real thing. I played against state in one game and they didn't even have their own stadium.

nonetheless, I was playing and noticed that they have these banners along the outer wall that say "Go Lafayette". I was pretty upset about it and was deciding if any discourse would actually result in a change for next season. Later on in my dynasty, i was closing the season against ULM. I finally noticed that on the scoreboard, they had us as UL and them as ULM. I figured that I couldn't be too upset about the other thing.

That screenshot looks totally unrealistic, I mean who are all those people in the stands. Shouldn't there be empty seats all over the place.

Dang Tonka trucks! Do they even make those things anymore? I think if PS3 makes a small price drop then Microsoft will do the same. I like playing war games on the computer. I wish EA would release this game for the PC like they use to do. My son has a 360 but he will not let me near it.

I was an Erector Set guy myself. Them was the good ole daze! Out on my bike till after dark. I don't know how many "classic" MLB cards I ruined in my spokes getting the "right sound"! LOL

There was a Playstation game my son had where you could virtually play with Tonka trucks. I don't believe there was one for an erector set.

Anyone know if the PS2 version has the authentic stadium? (haven't shelled out the cash for a PS3 yet).

Last year it wasn't accurate.
